The post below with the photo of Kitt? It was reposted today on a website with the best domain name I've seen in months. Maybe even centuries.
Thedailyhasselhoff.com. If any site on the planet is going to link to me, I want it to be a site dedicated to all things Hasselhoff. (You guys know me - you know there is no sarcasm in that statement.) I just need to figure out how to parlay this into even more fame and fortune. Oh, and for the record, when we saw the car, and we tried to explain what it was and where it was from, we had to use the Spongebob Squarepants movie as a way of explaining who the "Michael" was that the car was talking about. Junior immediately started talking about Hoff's chest hair. (If you haven't seen the S.S. movie - his talking about Hoff's chest hair is not as disturbing as it would be otherwise.) posted by Jody Permalink | 2 comments Friday, May 02, 2008
It's my official 2nd day of being an Utter Wonder Hall of Famer. Things are still going exceedingly well in the Hall of Famer department. I had no idea what it was like to be a Hall of Famer, I mean, it's like all of a sudden my life was converted to HD when it used to be just normal regular TV. You don't really know what you're missing until you get that HD TV, and then you scorn the people who are still living with the technology of the 60s and 70s.
That's what it's like being me. I highly recommend you all become Hall of Famers so that we can start getting together on the 2nd Wednesday of the month for a luncheon. (That's a good word, isn't it? Luncheon. Not just a sandwich and a drink, it's a luncheon, because special people don't just eat lunch. They attend luncheons. One of you will have to be the guest speaker, though, because I'm going to be busy trying to eat my lunch. Luncheon. Sorry, still not used to all this. Do a search for "DumpCast" and you'll find me over on iTunes. Or, you know, click this link.
I know, any fool can get a podcast added to iTunes, but let's pretend for a minute that it takes more effort than that. I need to figure out another camera to use because the sound on the little digital camera stinks royally. I thought maybe I had my hand on the microphone after the first one, but I don't think that's the case. If you want to buy me a digital camera, I'd like an HD camera that records to hard drive. Not asking for too much, am I? Okay, so you all need to subscribe over on iTunes so I will become fabulously rich and famous! Oh, wait, this is all free. Well, nevermind. At least this is fulfilling my dream of being a world re-knowned documentary filmmaker. Cause you know, that's what these are, right? At least some of the time. posted by Jody Permalink | 0 comments Saturday, March 10, 2007
I was reading Dilbert creator Scott Adams' blog and he said Google Alerts tell him when people like me are talking about him ("Hi Scott!"). I have had Google Alerts turned on for about two years now, and seriously, the only thing it ever tells me is my reviewer rank on Amazon.com. Which isn't all that great, by the way. Maybe I should review a couple of things, and try to make the reviews helpful while I'm at it.
Before any of you guys feels the need to point out that he's an internationally famous, and might I add, beloved cartoonist, and I'm some slightly crazy woman who can't quite keep up with the dishes while trying to become an internationally famous and beloved writer-photographer-interpretive dancer-Wii Champion. Well, I'd write more about this, but I think it best if I head over to Amazon and review a couple of things. And then I'm going to play Virus2 for a while (http://www.rfshq.com/forum/games/virus2.swf). Please don't blame me if you get hooked. posted by Jody Permalink | 0 comments |
