Cripes! I get an article published today, and all heck breaks loose with my page counts! I just wish all the folks going to the main Dump page were wandering over here, too.

I had to use lunch hour to update the regular Dump. Working on the novel will have to wait until tonight.

Holy cow! 29217! I rule! My charming husband asked “are you actually typing sentences, or just random words?”

I feel I can stop now. My eyes may fall out of my head soon. I’ll work on making up the rest (800 words or so) this week. In the meantime, I’m going to try to make notes on paper so I can let my son play with the computer for a few minutes before he has to go to bed. I’m nice that way.

Sixty degrees outside! The writing gods hate me! Oh well, I’m plunking on. 27278. I don’t know that I’ll get to 30,000 today.

Missed the meteor showers last night, so I guess I won’t be writing about them in the novel. Our waitress for breakfast this morning went down to the CAPE last night to watch, and was back and at work this morning! Holy cow, she’s gonna be WAY tired later!

Got a jump this morning and now I’m up to 26750, aiming for 30k by the end of the day to be back on track. WIth the long weekend approaching, I’m going to attempt to actually FINISH the 50,000 words (I don’t think the novel will be done at that point) so I won’t have to worry about it the last week of November. I just hope the project I am starting at work tomorrow doesn’t suck up huge quantities of time.

This is the reason I’m always distracted from getting my writing done.
