Oh crap. I wrote 300 words at work and didn’t upload THAT version of the file to yahoo, where I’ve been storing things to go back and forth between work and home (I take the files to work so I can print them and work on them at lunch. So now I’m faced with 48383, instead of the 48600+ I should have had. It’s not a big difference, but I’m not going to work tomorrow, so I’ll have to make up that difference. That will add a whole 10 or 15 minutes to my evening. *sigh*

Good morning everyone. It’s a rainy day, the perfect day for cranking out 2000+ words, wouldn’t you say? The novel won’t be “done” because I’m smack in the middle of the story (plus there are two chapters that will be removed from the front after I hit the deadline, because I made a major plot change and one of the characters ceased to exist after that. Anyway, the goal for NaNoWriMo was 50,000 words by November 30th. If your novel isn’t exactly finished, you get to keep writing into December.
