The weather this weekend has made it VERY hard to be tied to a computer. But I did a little work first thing, before we went out for breakfast, our little family tradition on Sundays. I did get some boxes cleaned up out of the living room, and did some dusting, so now I can feel good about doing a bit of typing.

I am at 5333, but was supposed to aim for 7600+ by the end of the day today. That sounds like a lot to me right now. Especially when I want to go do something fun outside on this lovely fall day. Mookie and Mr. Dump are mowing the back yard. Well, Mookie is sitting on a chair watching him. THAT’S my boy.

I’m back from my “date.” Mookie hung out with grandma and grandpa at their house for 90 minutes while we went to the Cornerstone Restaurant in Leominster. I hadn’t been there in years, and I can’t remember why it’s not on our list of places to go. Anyway, both of us had EXCELLENT meals, great desserts (even the decaf was fresh!) and I had some heavenly pino grigio, my favorite wine. I know it’s getting trendy now, but I liked it before it was trendy.

Oh, so now I’m writing a bit more before bed while Mr. Dump watches Arizona kick the living crap out of the Yankees. 10 to nothing. In the 3rd inning! Oh, wait. Now it’s 11 to nothing. Maybe they should just call the game like they do in little league.

Okay, I’m at 4379, aiming for 4800 before I head off to bed.

4039. I thought I’d have more by now. I had a goal of 5000 total by the end of the day today. I have to go to the grocery store now, and I don’t know how much time I’m going to put in tonight. Oh well, you can only do so much, right?

3450 words total so far. I’m getting a SLOW start this morning. Too much going on around here. I’ve got laundry load number 4 in the washing machine, and we’ve already spent quality time outside with the neighbor watching the backhoe did up a hole in the front lawn for a streetlight. Mr. Dump is not amused, but the guy did tell me that they’lll put loam and seed down when they’re done. Meaning that will be the only decent patch in the front.

I did ask if he would accidently dig up the part of the lawn nearest the driveway, or toss a few tulip bulbs in the open hole when they are filling it, and he just laughed at me. Sheesh, I have to do everything myself.
