Only 15155 so far, but I did have to go bowling today. The kids are all in the process of being put to bed, so I have about an hour to race through another 1000 words. Eeep!

p.s. I was horrifyingly bad at bowling. So at least the only people who know me are my family right? So who walks in and gets the alley next to us (MEANING WE ARE SHARING BALLS)? The guy I grew up next door to, his girlfriend and his two kids. Ugh. He and I used to bowl on a league at the bowling alley when we were KIDS! Saturday mornings, we walked from our house(s) all the way to Mason’s for the 8am league. I couldn’t believe it. How embarrassing. Mookie was KILLING me for most of the first game! I only beat him by one pin!

Oh, before I forget, I’m at 14035 this morning, aiming for 16660 by the end of the day, because, well, it’s day 10 and you have to do 1666 words a day to make the 50,000 deadline.

Hello, Saturday! The washing machine is humming, and I have the computer to myself this morning. I took a break last night and played with Mookie, so now I have to do at least 4700 words this weekend to still be on target for the end of the month.

Mr. Dump is off acquiring some hi-test coffee for me (we only buy decaf) to help me get started.

I think I fixed it. It’s close, anyway. I don’t want to hear any complaints until at least Sunday, either way.

Sorry about the mucked-up page. Something blew up in the template I use and I’m having a hard time fixing it. [added later] okay, this is getting VERY old VERY quickly.

I’m starting to think the problem is on the blogger server, but I won’t place blame yet.
