Hello world! Okay, my boss is finally back after being out on disability for like a zillion weeks, and I’m just so happy she’s back! No, really. I actually *like* my boss! Can you imagine?

So I finally combined up all my files this morning, and while the page count remains at 119 pages, I seem to have lost 200 or so words along the way, so the new total is 41802. But I’ll be blowing past that today anyway. ONWARD!

I broke 40K! WOOO HOOO!!!

Alright. I’m up to 39111, and I rewarded myself for it by allowing myself a 45 minute nap on the couch.

Now I’m awake and lit a fake log in the fireplace cause it’s so raw outside (of course, I’m INSIDE but let’s not quibble.) I think if I can do only 3000 more words today, I’ll be totally back on track, even though it means working on it all next week instead of having it finished already, which was the original plan.

As of last night, 37167.Not the 40k I was hoping for, but better than nothing.

The weather this weekend is crappy. It was supposed to be nicer but it rained yesterday and now everything is wet. I was going to send Mookie outside to play on his swingset, but now I can’t [insert image of me pouting].
