I just want everyone who said the Patriot’s didn’t stand a chance in the Superbowl can stand in line to kiss my lovely bum.

14 point underdogs? I don’t think so.

Sunday morning. It’s the morning with the most junkmail in my inbox. I mean seriously, I can’t believe how many spammers send their stuff out on Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Is that something they teach you in the Spam Handbook? I had to have 20 different things in my inbox, which is so sad because there wasn’t much real mail there other than that. I got one today for some guy selling a horse farm in Arizona. The note said it wasn’t spam because I must have contacted him in the past. I love that line. Oh, sure, I’m always emailing Arizona Realtors. As a matter of fact, I have been thinking the thing that’s missing from my life is a ranch. Praise be that this guy sent me an email this morning. I’m off to the bank to cut him a deposit check.

SUPERBOWL! SUPERBOWL! I like the superbowl because it usually means a party, but this year I am beside myself because the Pats are in it! Talk about rooting for the underdog, though. I am on a few mailing lists with people from all over the country, and people just don’t want to root for the Pats, even if they hate the Rams. How can that be?

Today’s date is 02/02/02 A person could get carried away with the Oh Twos. But it looks nice, and that’s what matters to me.

In the great “shovel or not?” debate, I am kind of not shovelling right now. It’s raining like heck, and it’s starting to ice up on everything, so some part of me thinks it just a teeny bit safer to have a bit of snow under the ice cover.

But at least we still have heat and electricity here. I saw pictures of Oklahoma and, well, wow. Ice is forming on stuff, but it’s not too thick. I will keep an eye on our birch trees and move the van if they start bending. I heard it’s pushing 50 in Boston, but we here 35 miles away aren’t so lucky. I’m guessing it’s 30 or so right now.
