Happy Mother’s Day! Woo hoo!

Best Present Ever: My son came up to me and admitted he had done something that I knew he had done but he denied for about 2 months. I mean, I wonder what triggered him to tell me this morning? I don’t care, I think it was really cool that he did it.

I’m working from home today. Got my iced coffee and my scanner, I’m ready to rock and roll. And the nice thing is that I can come in and out of the house without having to call someone to come and let me in. And the bathroom is much closer to my desk. See, it’s win-win for me!

You know, it gets more and more interesting at my house. Last night, while eating a wonderful homecooked meal {cough cough} Junior points to an empty chair at the table and says “Jesus is sitting there. He’s invisible. Grandma told me.”

And then he told me the joke that Jesus told him. Apparently Jesus isn’t so good with a joke.

Wow, just noticed that two days in a row I crabbed about Alewife. I shouldn’t do that. It’s a lovely subway station. Plus you always get a seat on the way in to the city, seeing as it’s the end of the line.

But still, it would work better if I was the only one there trying to leave at night.

Whew. Only three more days of this commute into Boston. After that, the commute switches to Worcester.

If I don’t see the exit ramp out of Alewife any time soon I won’t cry myself to sleep.
