After a dip into 4th place, I’m back in 3rd again. I have no idea if my team will get their crap back together and let us head for 2nd place. We’ll see.

It looks like rain today, which is too bad, I need to mow the lawn. Otherwise, another boring day at the Dump House.

I TOLD you my tentative grasp on first place in my Yahoo fantasy baseball league would end soon. I’m now in third place, trailing a person who visits the website so infrequently that for a week now she’s been playing two guys who are on the DL. That’s right, she’s beating me and she’s down two guys. THAT is what I expected. *sigh*

I finally gave Mike the Fish’s tank a good scrubbing, top to bottom. He’s back in, and I think he’s okay. Once again, I’ll keep an eye on him, but at least everything is scum-free.

I’m eating a really crunchy radish right now. It’s not a burning one, which is good. I’m wondering…who decided, ages ago, that radishes were good to eat? I mean, really, they taste kind of nasty compared to, say, a carrot. I should try to find radish nutritional info. Maybe it’s a safe food to add to the zero calorie pickle diet I mentioned way back in the dump.

When I was a kid I was really into planting radishes in my dad’s garden. I think because they were low maintenance, and barring a accident, would pretty much grow on cue.

Oh, and the ranch dressing here gets two thumbs up. I don’t know what brand these food services use, but I can’t get it in the grocery story, cause I have certainly tried them all.
