Tis Almost the Season

Junior and I noticed that the new Filenes (which isn’t open yet) is putting up all their Christmas decorations in anticipation of their opening. I don’t think I’m ready for that yet.

I was over at Amazon (cause I visit daily, okay? I don’t BUY anything) and found my first Christmas movie purchase-to-be:

cover

It’s not available until November so I have time to save up… Right?

Spyro Forever

Oh man, day, what, 8 of playing Spyro 3? My poor fingers will never be the same…

I need to put a review on Amazon about how it’s a great game for the whole family, including 4-year-olds, as long as you keep the cheat code list handy so you can get 99 lives…

Found ’em!

Turtle Transit Company created the turtle and the rhino cars. That link will take you to a page with links to pictures of both. I had seen a photo of the Monster.com monster car, and they did that too. Very cool, and they have an office up here in the Fitchburg area. I wonder if they’re hiring? I don’t know what for, but I’d just like to say that I’m somehow involved with the company who invented the turtle car.

(Photo linked-to from Turtletransit.com…please at least click on the link to go see their other work, or pictures of the process of making the rhino).

Already?

I can’t believe it’s already Friday again. I’m pretty sure it should only be Wednesday. I guess that means I should pop some checks in the mail that I forgot to mail already this week. I’m a baaaad girl.

In other news…no other news. I did see a car yesterday that looked like a rhino. I think I mentioned here before about a car that looked like a turtle. I thought I took pictures of it, but maybe I didn’t. Well, I think it’s the same company, but this one is a rhino. The entire minivan (I assume) has been covered with something akin to plaster, painted gray. And then they stuck a rhino head on the front – it’s got ears and a horn. I am going to try to remember what the company was called, to see if they have photos of the vehicles on the web already.
