Okay, can someone please explain to me why it is currently snowing out?

This is what I was expecting:

Wow, I’ve been quite busy this week. I actually feel relieved that it’s Friday, even though I know I’ll be busy all weekend, too. Busy hands are happy hands. Or something. If that’s not the saying, pretend it is. I do need to look into the spell checker in this blogging software. It seems to have taken a dislike to apostrophes. It said the word “can’t” was spelled wrong. I’m just not mentally prepared to have to defend my use of contractions to the spell checker.

Oh, funny thing, I almost forgot to mention it here. We brought our copy of Disney’s House of Villians to my sister’s house for the kids to watch after Trick or Treating. I actually overheard a conversation between Junior (4) and one of the girls (5).

“Goofy’s a dog!”

“No he isn’t!”

Wow. It starts early. I guess that explains why so many professional comedians tell the same jokes. It starts early.

It’s officially November, so the 10,000 (!) people who signed up for NaNoWriMo can now write! (Click the link over on the write to read my nanowrimo journal, complete with random excerpts.)

Also, regarding Halloween: Cold but not rainy, Junior, who doesn’t eat candy, enjoyed ringing doorbells and saying Trick or Treat but didn’t always stick around to get the candy. Silly boy.

I was over at Yahoo playing with the themes, and I set it to Halloween. Now I can’t change it. Please tell me I won’t have to stare at all this orange and black for the rest of my life.
