Mood: crappy

Reason: Like many of my fellow NaNoWriMo novelists, I have reached a point in my novel where I realize I am going off in the wrong direction, and that I might even want to change POV. I have spent much of this morning trying to figure out how to change the novel so that a)people will actually like the protagonist, and b)the story will make sense.

I guess this is hitting the first wall. Normally, this is the point in the writing process where I just put the pages away and never work on them again. *sigh*

Still slow going. I don’t know why, the part I’m writing should be easy. Well, the current total is 11160. I don’t even remember what I said I was aiming for today, but I suspect I’m at least 800 words shy. Well, that’s not going to be happening tonight. Mookie and Mr. Dump are watching Mulan, but I think it’s going to be bedtime soon.

Oh man, I just looked in my visitor logs (it just tells me domains, or countries, so don’t panic anyone) and saw a recent visitor had the tivo.com domain. Oh man, I’m ready to cry! My Tivo has been out of order for months now, and I haven’t had the $99 to send it back to be fixed. Do you KNOW what it’s like to have a Tivo that doesn’t work after you’ve become addicted to it? It’s just not as important as buying groceries and paying the bills. Oh, and I need to renew my domain for another two years. That’s $70. *sigh* Why am I not making any money running a website?

Oh man, I’m so depressed. If I worked for Tivo, I’ll bet this wouldn’t be a problem. Hey Tivo.com person, I’m willing to do $99 worth of consulting in exchange for getting my Tivo fixed!
