Ahhh, I am back on track. The current word count is almost 18800. By counting on my fingers, I know that I need 20k by the end of the day to be working on schedule.
No sweat, sez I. Gotta go get coffee though. It is Monday, after all. Oh, and I replaced the two missing links. Good thing, cause I’m really into Little Yellow Different. Cool Blog.
Is it Sunday already? I hate when the weekend is more than half over just when I’m getting used to it. The sun is making it look so inviting outside, but it’s not too pleasant…I’m guessing 40 with a brisk wind. That’s not nice, to tease us that way. Last night was the most unbelievable sunset. I don’t think I’ve seen a sky like that in years. I was so happy to stand outside and just watch it until the colors started fading.
So the kids are headed back home with Mr. Dump, except of course for junior mint, so he’s looking for me to play with him. I want to do 3000 words today, but I don’t know that it will happen. Taking a nap when he does sounds really inviting right now.
Only 15155 so far, but I did have to go bowling today. The kids are all in the process of being put to bed, so I have about an hour to race through another 1000 words. Eeep!
p.s. I was horrifyingly bad at bowling. So at least the only people who know me are my family right? So who walks in and gets the alley next to us (MEANING WE ARE SHARING BALLS)? The guy I grew up next door to, his girlfriend and his two kids. Ugh. He and I used to bowl on a league at the bowling alley when we were KIDS! Saturday mornings, we walked from our house(s) all the way to Mason’s for the 8am league. I couldn’t believe it. How embarrassing. Mookie was KILLING me for most of the first game! I only beat him by one pin!
