Only 3 more hours until work is done. GOOD. I want to work on the novel. Well, really, I want to take a bubble bath, eat a gourmet meal, and watch a good movie. But given that I don’t think any of that will happen, I’ll settle for getting eyestrain and Carpel Tunnel.

Oh my goodness! My favorite Osmond album from my long-ago youth is now available again! I’ve added it to my basket at Amazon. The Plan is, I hope, a good album. It was when I owned it [mumble] years ago.

I only did about 900 words yesterday. Not my goal. On the other hand, I got a really good full night’s sleep, in case anyone was wondering. I’m ready to face the day. I know I can make up all these dribs and drabs on the weekend, so I’m not worried.

Off to have some Cocoa Krispies…

It looks like it’s going to snow. The sky is pretty yucky.

And I have no idea what to have the protagonist do now. Shouldn’t something happen in a novel? I have to start writing down the stuff I think of as I’m falling asleep. I’m sure that’s how Stephen King does it. Now I still have almost all 1666 words left for today, because I was busy trying to get something done during lunch. *sigh*

It’s interesting to write a novel. Everything that happens to you in real life can somehow be twisted into something useful. I was lying awake in bed last night, and to keep myself from being grumpy that I couldn’t fall asleep, I started thinking, okay, so I could give the protagonist insomnia, and this is how it feels. This is what she’s thinking.

Of course, because I didn’t write anything down, I don’t remember what I came up with.
