Here, while I’m getting some stuff done and can’t spend a lot of time coming up with the long-winded useful crap I normally share with you, I instead point you to this site: Anomalies Unlimited – the funny “peculiar” and the funny “haha”. Don’t blame me if you lose an hour or two just browsing.

Cool New Search Engine
I somehow ended up on the Alexa search site this morning, and I think it’s pretty cool. So cool, in fact, that I downloaded their search toolbar to my browser. Additionally so cool that they are owned by Amazon, and if you access them via my site or download the tool bar from the link I added on the right, you can automate the way you help the Big DumpTruck. The toolbar has an Amazon icon in the far right corner. Now if you use THAT to access Amazon, you’ll automatically be telling them I referred you. No need to come to this site first before you go there. Cool, huh? I think so. Here’s
a sample review page for THIS site. You have entered a review, haven’t you?
I don’t want to do a hard sell, but this is a great way to keep the Dump alive. All proceeds from the referral fees I own go right back to paying for hosting, and domain renewal (due in exactly three weeks. Uh oh.) Okay, that’s it for the commercial. I’ll just keep the link to the toolbar over on the right somewhere. IE users can grab it now, later or never. I’ll still love you.

4 or 5?
Now is it fair to refer to Junior as a 4 year old when he’s so much closer to being 5 (January 6th) and thus acts “older” than a 4yo? Should I be saying “My almost four year old” so that I’m not deceiving people into thinking I have a genius on my hands. I mean, I do, but I don’t want to have people turn around and say I tricked them.
Him: Where are my new pajamas?
Me: On the stairs, I didn’ t bring them up yet.
Him: Thanks, Mama!
Me: Oh, no problem, it’s my job.
Him: Oh, is that so?
Is that so? Is that so? Who is this person? (p.s. They are the LL Bean Lizard PJs. Very very nice.)
Turkey Day
I’m not cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year, for which I am thankful. I’ll probably be in charge of bringing a few items, including a pumpkin pie. But that’s it for me. This book,
Thanksgiving 101
looks like something I’m going to need to buy, though. I don’t want to be afraid to screw up a turkey. And it would happen, let me just tell you that.)
