Why don’t they have Spongebob clothes for people going to work? I could get plenty of lovely stuff for Jr. with Spongebob on it. T-shirts. Pajamas. Underwear. But no blouses or skirts. It’s really a crime. I’m going to be going to work every day and nothing I wear will have Spongebob on it. *sigh*

I should go back to the cafeteria to see what the sign says exactly; they may have confused the anniversary of Elvis’s death with his birthday. That would explain the free cake. That’s right, the cafeteria had free cake today to celebrate [mumble] Elvis. I think the mumble says birthday, but it SHOULD say anniversary of his death, because that’s tomorrow. He didn’t die the day after his birthday, did he?

The grill section special of the day? Fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches. No, really. I took a pass on that, as I had peanut butter last night, in a more normal form. You know, in a Fluffernutter.

Which raises the question – is cake an appropriate way to “celebrate” someone’s death? I think no. But it’s cake and it’s free, so, okay, sure, why not.

My numbers are down, so I can only assume my readers are all on the same power grid.

Junior is moving on from the home daycare/childcare setup. I’ve been
incredibly happy with the care provided by the Heart to Heart daycare in
Leominster. With the economy the way it is, the owner has some empty slots
that she just hasn’t been able to fill, and that’s making her a bit nervous.

me wanting to help out a friend.

I think I’m going to make some really minor changes to the site this weekend. One thing is to take down the link to streaming video. I just don’t ever have it on, and stripping out some of the code will make the page just that much faster to load. I may leave the still image there, but to stream I have to also open a hole in my firewall that I’m not not comfortable doing in this land of worms and other unsavory web activity.

So that and maybe tidying up some other code. I don’t think I’m going to do a full-fledged redesign, given that it does take some work to do that.

Anyway, just wanted to give you a heads up.
