Something I just posted in the Yahoo forum for NaNoWriMo-ers:

In 20 days, I have learned to use my free time to write instead of watching tv, or other useless stuff.

If nothing else, maybe I’ve picked up a good habit that will keep me writing instead of just talking about it.

Yipes! I have two blogs…this one, and one I use to sort of store random thoughts so I can use them later. I hate when I accidently post one of those random thoughts here. If any of you were thinking “Huh”? at a post that has since been deleted, I apologize.

Two days until Turkey.

Since having a child, I have found the the world stopped revolving around me. This sucks. Thanksgiving used to be the day that I would force everyone in my family to watch a movie of my choosing, and to listen to music of my choosing. Now my son, niece and nephew seem to control things. This is just flat out wrong. Willy Wonka is a good Thanksgiving movie. A Christmas Carol is a great Thanksgiving movie. Mulan is not.

Maybe I can compromise and slip A Muppet Christmas Carol in between showings of Bob the Builder and Shrek.
