I started my day by asking my son’s babysitter why her rubbish wasn’t out. She looked at me like I had two heads. “My rubbish is picked up on Fridays.”

Oh good Lord, I thought it was Friday. That’s not good. Not good at all.

Oh Poo…junior still isn’t feeling well. Woke up with a fever and won’t eat anything. We are currently fighting over him eating a half a piece of toast. I hate to have to miss work because he’s sick; it drives me buggy. But I can’t very well expose him to the other kids in case this is more than an ear infection.

I need to find the JanuaryYankee Magazine because a relative of my uncle’s who is a year older than me wrote an article called “Coming Home to Leominster”.

Adrian Nicole LeBlanc is an unbelievable writer. My Aunt Barbara lets me know whenever she has something published in a magazine I have access to. The last one I bought was an article in the New Yorker that just took my breath away. If she doesn’t win journalism awards, nobody deserves them. Oh wait, it looks like she does win awards. And her hair is like, way better than mine.
