Particulary Grind-y

Why is the Tuesday after Labor Day the hardest day to get through? The traffic is back to being horrific in the morning (since changing jobs back to Marlboro in July I haven’t had to deal with the school traffic). Someone could tell the fine people running the tree trimming in Lancaster that they could maybe, just maybe, not start until 8am or later. Seriously, on a major commuter route like 117, they are down to one lane so they can cut down tree branches 3 days in a row? It wasn’t even 7:30am and already traffic was screwed up because of it.

Well, at least it’s a 4 day week. Maybe by Thursday I’ll be out of my fog.

  1. Those tree trimmers are driving me nuts. And it’s even worse after 495.

    I hate being here today.

  2. My day stinks so far.. get to work, son calls, college messed up his account and he needs $500 for books w/i 2 hours into his checking ! Rush home, traffic around town jammed. Got it done. Get home, somehow loose my glasses in the house (take them off for the computer). Wife walks down to DCU and her ATM card stopped working, so we are out of pocket cash. I’ll try mine later.
Dial into work conference call. Passcode doesn’t work. Start calling people to get right call.
    I give up.
Why can’t I start this day all over again ?
I even woke up with a backache, guess that was an omen..

  3. Hey…I work in Marlboro too! And I was tempted to purposely hit those tree-trimmers, just for messing with my morning commute, what’s up with that??

  4. I’m off Simarano Drive. Fih-dehl-ity. (The first rule of Blog Club is don’t talk about work).

Where is there a 99 going in? East or west on 20, Sharon?
