Buy Now and Save!

I am not selling anything, don’t worry. Unless you want to buy something. You tell me what I have that you want to buy, and how much you want to pay for it, and I’ll sell it to you. Say for instance, you want to buy my Emeril page. That’s cool, I’d consider letting it go if the price was right. So you write a number down on a piece of paper and slide it across the table. I’ll let you know what I think. I may write down a different number and slide the paper back across to you.

Actually, I only wrote that down because Mr. Dump just sent me an email letting me know that Staples is having a big sale today, and I was driving around Sunday evening looking to buy some HP 4×6 photo paper. Target was out, and Staples and Office Max were closed. I was forced to go into Barnes and Noble and spend all my cheese money on books. But I still need the photo paper.

  1. Why don’t you just send the pictures out to Snapfish or something? They do a great job and it’s pretty cheap. Unless you already bought one of them newfangled photo printers or you print a gajillion pictures or something, that’s what I’d do. Of course, that’s just me. I’m all for less clutter and electronics.

  2. Me? Less clutter and electronics? Satan, get thee away from me!

I got one of those newfangled photo printers (it’s actually a really fast regular printer too) and I’m going through vacation photos. I was trying to print some for my step-daughter while she was here for the weekend. I tend to use Ofoto (what’s that, Kodak now?) when I’m not in a hurry, but this printer can do a much cheaper 5×7 or 8×10 than they can. Anyhoo…

  3. I’m just sayin’. Plus you said 4×6 not 8×10. Yes, Ofoto is Kodak and that’s what I use as well. I guess I just don’t like spending money on ink or toner when a new printer is less money then buying all three cartridges.

  4. Gotcha. Yes, 4×6 because I’m out of those. If I only want to print a few pictures, the shipping on those services isn’t worth it. Plus, the printer I had separates all the ink colors, and they are only 9.99 per cartridge. Some of them last MUCH longer than the others. My old color printer didn’t do that, and it was a horrible waste to have to replace the one color cartridge when you knew the only thing gone was yellow.

We’ve also used it to do projects like stickers and stuff. I bought tattoo paper…now if I could just remember where I put it.

  5. What kind of printer is it? Cartridges for $10? I’m down with that! Hey did I tell you that Terry Leland got married? She’s a teacher now in Wooosta.

  6. Sharon, I’ll check the model number when I get home. It’s an HP, and there are 5 color cartridges and one black one. I’ve NEVER had to replace more than 2 colors at once.
