I’m Ready for a Little Warm, Thanks

You know, I really should pay more attention to the bloody groundhog’s predictions, you know? I believe “he” said there would be six more weeks of winter (i.e. no early spring). Damned if he wasn’t right on the money with the one, eh? It’s the first day of spring – there are only two weeks left to the month of March…and it’s not even forty flippin degrees. The high is only supposed to be 34 today. thirty four. But wait, there’s a wind, so it only feels like twenty one degrees.

On March 20th. The first day of Spring.

*sigh*

  1. I was depressed all weekend, sunny and cold. Did some outside work but came in after I got a runny nose in an hour. I still need to clean up tons of branches on the ground from the wind and sand off the lawn.
Daughter went to LHS theatrical competition in Duxbury Saturday, lasted from 5am to 11:30pm. Kids worked hard at it only to find out that everyone of their cars left at LHS was broken into. I am sick of the cold too obviously doesnt keep the crooks at home though.

  2. My local news ran a report about a moose that ran in front of a car there. News clips of it inside the car and all. I laughed about how they pronounced your town. lemon-stir. I remember a few years back posts about how to pronounce the name.-Karen

  3. Two anonymouses…you guys should just type your names into the “other” field. I went to the theater competition when I went to LHS. That STINKS about their cars getting broken into. Grrrrr.

And Karen, but we do pronounce it lemon stir…at least I do!

  4. Poor moose. I talked about that a bit on my blog. That happened less than a mile from my house (shudder).

I am not feeling this cold weather. Spring in New England, my ass.
