Friend of the Dump Kim C. let me know that her town is home to a new McDonald’s(r) with the Diner Inside (TM). (Boy, that rolls right off the tongue. Why not McDiner?)
After reading the press release about it, I’m just sitting here wondering if I’d want that. I actually don’t like “eating in” at McD’s anyway, and 95% of the time get the food to go. So they put a red phone on the table and that’s how you order…do you suppose someone actually answers, or is it a push-button deal? What if everyone tries to order at the same time, would you get a busy signal?
I’d like to try this just to say I did. Unfortunately, the chances of me going to Kentucky any time soon as slim. I mean, I went there once, so I already crossed it off the list. If Kim actually goes and orders the meatloaf, she’s under strick orders to take a few pictures of the setup. And the food.
