The Reviews Are In

Okay, last night Junior and I rented Toy Story 2 for the Playstation. After our delightful experience playing Spiro 3: The Year of the Dragon all week. Spyro was the first game that Junior and I actually sat down to play together (by that I mean taking turns with the controller, and pointing each other to stuff to check out; it’s only a 1-player game).

Toy Story 2’s graphics aren’t that great…in fact I keep seeing flaws in the graphics (places where you can see things that you shouldn’t see…flickering, etc.). But the worst part (given that when you rent from Blockbuster you don’t get the little booklet) was just not being able to figure out how to do stuff. And when we think we’ve figured it out, it’s just wayyyy too hard for either of us to do it. I mean, I can’t win the race against RC. Now you don’t get a 2nd chance to race against him like you do in Spyro. He goes into an endless spin. Do you mean to tell me that I have to restart the game for a 2nd chance? Ridiculous. I’m glad I only rented it instead of buying it.
