Oh, before I forget, I’m at 14035 this morning, aiming for 16660 by the end of the day, because, well, it’s day 10 and you have to do 1666 words a day to make the 50,000 deadline.

Hello, Saturday! The washing machine is humming, and I have the computer to myself this morning. I took a break last night and played with Mookie, so now I have to do at least 4700 words this weekend to still be on target for the end of the month.

Mr. Dump is off acquiring some hi-test coffee for me (we only buy decaf) to help me get started.

I think I fixed it. It’s close, anyway. I don’t want to hear any complaints until at least Sunday, either way.

Sorry about the mucked-up page. Something blew up in the template I use and I’m having a hard time fixing it. [added later] okay, this is getting VERY old VERY quickly.

I’m starting to think the problem is on the blogger server, but I won’t place blame yet.

So the plan is to ditch all the kids (all three will be at the house this weekend) and get at least 2 “alone” hours with the computer tomorrow. Possible? Maybe. I think if Mr. Dump is willing to take them all to the mini golf course, I will have a little bit of time, anyway.
