Spongebob Squarepants

Mookie is obsessed with "Squarepants." I need to remember to write to Nickelodeon to let them know they need to put the show on more than one night a week. Every single night he thinks it's going to be on. But it's only on Thursday nights. He doesn't get the concept of Thursday quite yet. We're working on it.

Also, I wish there was a Spongebob costume for Halloween. Now I might be forced to make one from scratch, and that could turn out to be a HUGE mistake. I'm not known for my fancy needlework.

NOTE: I can't spell that network's name to save my life. Whenever I want to go to their website (for Mookie) I go to the Nick Jr. web site, and that I can spell. The other one I can't, which is why there is no link listed. Actually, I think I spelled it right but entering it as a web address doesn't seem to work. Who knows.

Making the World a Better Place

I was attending a wedding this past weekend (Congrats Steve and Heather!) and one of the people at our table happened to mention that she words for Borden. As in the people who bought out Prince Spaghetti. As in the people who discontinued my beloved Prince Chunky Garden Style with Mushrooms spaghetti sauce, the only sauce worth buying.

Poor girl didn't know what hit her when I started in on the "how could you!" speech. She admitted that she was sorry it was gone too, and that she agreed with me that the customer service rep who said to try Aunt Millie's as a replacement was out of her mind.

I didn't achieve anything, but at least I felt a little better after I was done.

The Big DumpTruck Store

I am trying to set up a store where you can buy Big DumpTruck merchandise. Eventually I will host the store here at this address so that I can have multiple designs of each product, but for now you can view the coffee cup and mouse pad at Cafe Press. I don't have t-shirts designed yet because I want a cool graphic but don't have one at high enough resolution.

Of course, if any of you are graphic designers and want to offer free stuff (signing off all rights) who am I to turn you down?

Also, if anyone has any ideas for a cool saying on any item (that isn't a violation of copyright law) I'll consider those too!

Fixed the 404 Problem

I apologize to those people who were getting a 404 error when they clicked on some of the links to back issues of the Big DumpTruck. Turns out my server IS case sensitive. Who knew? Certainly not me. Or if I did, I forgot. That would explain all the 404's showing up in my user logs, anyway.

And next time, if one of you notices a problem, feel FREE to e-mail me!

Quote of the Day

I laughed my head off the first time I heard the commercial on the radio. I believe the company doing the ad is ICPlanet.com. (Forgive me for not remembering... that's a bad sign, right?) Anyway, the line from the end of the spot is

"Get out of my office, you lousy talking mime!"
