May I Please Have My Stapler Back?We watched the movie Office Space the other night and I was once again overwhelmed by how funny Stephen Root is. That man is AMAZING. I mean, I thought he did an unbelievable job with the Jimmy James character on Newsradio, but my GOD he was so freakish in this movie! He played Milton Waddams, the poor pitiful loser at the low end of the totem pole. The more I think about it, the funnier this movie gets. I think I need to gather some of the Milton quotes from this movie and use them at work any time I feel my cubicle is getting smaller and smaller. I was going to try to verify the stapler quote at a fan site but I'm not having much luck. I guess I'll have to rent the video again. Also, I recommend to the person running fansites.com (http://www.fansites.com/Stephen_root.html was the link I was aiming for) that they upgrade their server so I don't get the evil "server busy" signal. Broadway Shows I Never Want to SeeThis is a contest to see how many times I can use the word "freakish" in one issue of the dump, right? Well here we go again. Freakish freakish freakish. I was listening to the news station in the minivan and heard a commercial for a pre-broadway show coming to Boston. Grease. Again. Anyhoo, this was is starring...wait for it...Laverne & Shirley stars Shirley Feeney and Carmine Ragusa, Cindy Williams and Eddie Mekka. Which answers a question recently raised at our house: Is Eddie Mekka dead, or what? Apparently Mr. Mekka is alive and starring in Grease. He replaces Bowzer from Sha-na-na, who was listed on another website Google dug up when I did my search.
