It’s Disney’s Fault

I’m sorry, but I can’t stop playing Toontown Online. I blame them for sucking all the free time out of my life. Blame Disney.

We braved the rain today to go to the Lord’s Acre Corn Festival today. It is worth the rain and mud for their corn and chicken BBQ. I’m hungry again just thinking about it!

So any of you eat corn or play Toontown? I’m Queen Curly Bananaflinger…

  1. Ok, ok, I’ll admit…I stopped playing the Sims long enough to check out the Toontown thing. And it’s all Jody’s fault! Call me Coconut Whiskerthud….

  2. Oh My Gosh! I have been lurking here for months and I have to say I am also addicted to Toontown Online. My toons are Duel Master (my sons made him) and Punch Bunny Convertible. My oldest got Toontown for Christmas 2 years ago and they badgered me to check it out. Now they badger me to stop playing…. LOL.

  3. Two years! Wow, I want you for a secret friend! My only secret friends are my son and the three kids of a friend of mine. That’s right, 4 secret friends, all 8 and under. One of them can’t read yet, which makes it funny trying to chat with him. He types numbers at me.

It’s weirdly addictive. I mean, I wish there was more to do, but I can’t stop playing. It really has surpassed Neopets for me, which is a big deal. Although Neopets just added a mah-jongg game, so I have checked that one out. I typically play in the 7-10pm timeframe during the week.

If you guys email me off-list at jody at this domain name, I’ll email you back a code. If you’ll have me.

  4. We wanted to go to Lord’s Acre, but we had a family cookout that day we couldn’t get out of. Pretty miserable day.

Corn was 10 ears for $2 at Shaw’s — not sure if it was just a weekend special. I had some at my BBQ, and man, was it good and juicy — so much so that my dad hit me in the eye when he bit into his.
